STEPHANIE POWELL

Stephanie has practiced family law for nearly two decades in two states: Texas and, since 2017, in beautiful Western Washington. Her practice encompasses divorce, child custody, modifications, domestic violence issues, committed intimate relationships, relocation matters, and property distribution.

Stephanie understands that changes in family dynamics are stressful. She strives to alleviate each client’s fears by clearly explaining how the law and precedent apply to their unique case. While some truths may be difficult to hear, Stephanie is dedicated to building an honest rapport with her clients, ensuring they know what to expect as much as possible. Skilled in both mediation and contested court hearings, Stephanie’s goal is to make each client feel seen and heard as they work toward a new chapter in their lives. She particularly values representing members of the LGBTQ community and immigrants.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.
